We accept donations from individuals and corporations of new and gently used items for clients in our programs. Your items help to minimize expenses and provide the basic needs and comforts of home. Proceeds from the sale of gently used items donated to the YW Thrift Boutique support the YW’s programs and services for women and girls.
In order for you to receive a tax receipt for your donation of new items on our wish list, a valid proof of purchase is required. If you would like a tax receipt, please contact us prior to making your purchases to make arrangements.

For re-sale at the YW Thrift Boutique:
The emergency shelter cannot accept donations of used clothing, however the YW Thrift Boutique will gladly accept used clothing for re-sale with all proceeds going to support the YW’s programs for women and children. The YW is not able to accept donations of furniture and used toys. These, and other items not on the wish list, may be donated to Thrift on Kent or the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

Please call the Thrift Boutique at 226-751-6898 to make delivery arrangements. Items can be brought directly to the store at 102 King St W Kitchener during their operating hours. For donations of gift cards or items for which a tax receipt is needed, please call 519-576-8856 ext. 102 to make arrangements.
