Like so many others, I find the lead up to the holidays a time to reflect and share. On behalf of the entire staff and Board of Directors, I want to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who chose to support the YW Kitchener-Waterloo. Whether it’s through ongoing or one-time monetary donations or gift items, the amount of support we receive from this community is immeasurable. Your help makes it possible for us to offer shelter, assistance and programs to many women, children and families.
We are in challenging and transformational times. Government funding is shrinking, and needs in this community are growing. But we are fortunate to live in a caring community that supports organizations like the YW. This year the YW celebrates everyone who has given so generously. Throughout this Holiday News Letter, you will see photos and read about the generosity of some of the organizations, individuals and clubs.
